Illustrative Engagements
Colorado Rural Education Collaborative
Gluona works with a collaborative of 63 Colorado rural districts to help to help them build a reporting system for the Student-Centered Accountability Program, aligned with the recent passage of SB 19-204. Gluona works with the collaborative to secure philanthropic grants to support the work, negotiates vendor contracts to maximize the use of available funding, and plays the role of product and project management for the project.
Gluona supported implementation and communication for this statewide, legislatively funded program that supports educators in combining the use of technology with strong instructional practices and student-centered learning. This includes capturing case studies as well as overseeing opportunities for collaboration in support of Colorado’s Blended Roadmap.
Gluona supported internal learning for the Front Range BOCES, which supports Colorado’s urban districts, by capturing human-centered design resources and protocols aimed at creating more engaging learning experiences for students and healthy school cultures.
Gluona created a scorecard to support the allocation of venture philanthropy funds towards companies and projects most likely to enhance equity in education.
